So, any of you film shooters ever deal with red shift film? I got a few rolls and tried to get some developed and scanned this afternoon. The scanner they were using couldn't handle it. it kept spitting the roll of film back out. It just couldn't "read" the red shift. It's normal C-41 process color film, but it seems maybe the scanning machine couldn't see enough contrast in the negative? Just wondering if anyone may have encountered this issue, and what was done to rectify it.
I'm taking it to a proper photo lab tomorrow to see if they can get it done.

Or misfed with the reverse curl?
Or they inserted it with the curl and the machine had a detector for correct orientation of the emulsion? This seems unlikely.
