Another option is the Bessa R2m. Good framelines, and the full VF window approximates 28mm. Modern swing-back loading and a very good meter, in case you want to travel really light.

I also really like the feel of my M4 and would like to get a second body with a similar feel. Internal metering is not very important for me. And in any case, the cost of the new Bessas is in the same ballpark as that of a decent M3 or M2 (of course, the M might need a CLA that would increase its price by a significant margin). Thanks for the suggestion though.
