Hong Kong Second Meeting of HK Photo Club !!!

Hey Buddies,

Sorry for keeping you wait for so long, here comes the schedule of our second meeting :

1. We meet in Yuen Long at about 2:30pm. ( Please finish your lunch first... or you prefer we have our lunch together ? )

2. Explore Yuen Long with our RF, for about 2 hours I guess.

3. Take a rest and eat some fresh fruit dessert at 'B's Dessert' . ( Have you heard about it, Mr. Ho ?)

4. Continue our exploration in Yuen Long town center or nearby attractions such as temples or abandoned old buildings.

5. Dinner at about 6:30pm, 2 choices I would suggest, the famous Wing Wah Restaurant, a Chinese cuisine, delicious 'local village' food, not expensive, but not too comfortable (too crowded and noisy). Or a Thai Restaurant, beautiful environment, great Thai food, less 'talking' noise, and free parking !

( A local groceries store opened before WWII, and a studio with over 30 years of history ! Wow ! )

Sounds great, Dingo. Where do we meet at 2:30? At the train station or some other landmark location? The Thai restaurant sounds really good, especially if the other place is very noisy, but I'm easy either way. BTW, is B "lang loy"?! Adrian

No, B's Dessert is a very famous place offerring fresh fruit dessert, not 'lang loy'! (But you should meet many 'lang loy' there.) BTW, I just had dinner at the Thai Restaurant : (by phone, poor quality)

Sounds great to me. I would vote for the Thai food as I don't think we could eat too much during the hot season. A cool Thai beer would be good. BTW, what happened if raining or cloudy? Postponed??

If it should rain on Saturday...... THere are plenty of great food waiting for us, we feed our stomach instead of our rangefinders !

And Adrian, I think I can join you in Tsuen Wan instead of Yuen Long, is it better for you ?

May be Tsuen Wan is the destination of our third meeting, Louis ?

OK, let's talk about tomorrow, I am afraid some of you are not familiar with Yuen Long ( Right Mr. Ho ? ), therefore I suggest I drive to Tsuen Wan and pick you up or lead you the way to Yuen Long. And perhaps 2:30pm in Tsuen Wan is a better time, that means we will be in Yuen Long at about 3:00pm, still plenty of time for shooting.
Is this OK for everybody ? If yes, I think Kwu Uk Lane is the usual place for parking a car and wait for you guys. ( Kwu Uk Lane is the entrance of the MTR office near Luk Yeung Shun Tsuen, check the map.)

I will check this thread later tonight, and tomorrow as well. You can also phone me tomorrow after 11:00 am.

I am going to load my weapons now...

Isn't it easier for you if I simply take the MTR to Mei Foo and then take the KCR to Yuen Long? If you want to come to Tsuen Wan, great, but sounds like a hassle for you. I'll call you after 11am today to discuss.

Yes, the Thai dinner was great, but the tour around Yuen Long was really excellent! Thanks, Dingo!, for organizing.

It will be fun to see the results of all our efforts at our next meeting. Louis suggested we do it in a couple of weeks, so I'm going to propose Friday evening, 3 August. Does that work for everyone? If so, I think Louis should choose the venue.

BTW, attached is evidence of Dingo's GAS attack yesterday afternoon! Well done!
