A cla for the camera would probably be about $90 including shipping to Oleg.

Rob, I hope my plea for you to break that set up doesn't go unnoticed.

Steph, you've got a J9. What will a Canon 85 f2 that needs a cla give you that you haven't already got?
(I've got a a bunch of 50's, Canon 85 f2, and 2 Leica screwmount bodies, one which just came back from Oleg, so I'll leave this deal for someone else - flashover?)

The viewfinder. And the ability to compare the Canon with the J-9.
I doubt he'd consider selling the viewfinder separately, but that's what I really need, not necessarily the lens.

Wow, I didn't realize that there has already been comments on the ad(no email notification, though I'm pretty sure I selected that choice). So some of the comments here make much more sense.
To answer you, Stephanie, I would much rather keep this together. And part of that is because I do have a good J-9. That lens is as fast and much lighter. And uses filters that are a lot easier to find (49mm vs 48mm). The one part of the whole set I want to keep is the 85 VF, in fact, because it is so much smaller than the FSU turret finder that I have. Butthat would be wrong(and leave an empty place in the case).
As I posted originally, I have spent some time giving this serious thought and I will stick with my decision. Of course if no one wants it in the 15 days I put the ad up for...

John, just drop that Contax 50mm Tessar and you could buy a bunch of stuff.

Don't tell me you need a Tessar, Frank.

I'm actually relatively happy with what I have and will be saving any future purchases for my M, but I AM looking into getting an enlarger finally. Someone put up a Federal suitcase enlarger on the APUG forums and that would be a perfect solution to my medium format enlarging in a small space problem. I could store the enlarger easily in the closet when I'm done with it.

Frank, you are probably right about that(but see above). And I realized It seemed like I was ignoring your posts. NOT intentionally, I just type slowly and the posting was pretty quick here for a little while. And, as I mentioned, I'm not getting any notification of comments posted directly to the ad...FrankS said:A cla for the camera would probably be about $90 including shipping to Oleg.
So I hope you don't feel slighted. And if you do, I apologize.

Kiu: I never promised any ads; all the people who stated so far in this thread their wish to sell items should/could now be getting specific about the sales. Either restate and confirm a list of the items and let people send you pm's with offers or list the items with prices in the classified section.
We are just starting ....
Kiu, why are you so impatient? The month of September has barely started.

Allright,
i will join the following:
one Agfa Ambi-Silette with 35, 50 an 90mm lenses
another one with a 50mm lens but with "later" type viewfinder setup and strap lugs
a Minolta Himatic 7s2
a Lynx 5000
a Canon 135/3,5 in LTM with shade
a bit OT - Leica R stuff:
a Vario-Elmar 28-70
a Sigma 70-210 in R-Mount
My R3a i bought from forum member Iggy is spoken for already. I look forward finalising the deal in mid-September.
I am just not comfortable with the finder. Maybe due to my recently discovered appreciacion for the 35mm Skopar? I stick to my trusty R2 . . .
take care, Fritz

I have not been paying attention, but if someone has a Contax 50/3.5 Tessar hanging out to be sold, yes, I may very well be interested.
