The wedding pics will have to wait ;)

Here's a couple from Operation Pheasant, an annual Liberation event that I help to organize in my home city.

@ Michael: Yes, the Summicron C is pretty sharp, I was really astonished. And very easy to focus, you can work pretty fast as well. I can really recommend this one as good compromise between 35 and 50 mm. I use the built in 35 frame, this one comes very close.

@ phototektour: No, it's not the Zoo park, but quite close - it's the Buschermuehle Park at Mulvanystrasse. I will tke some shots of the river Rhein for you i nthe next days :)

Cheers, Andreas

Michael,

the Summicron is not only sharp, the resolution is outstanding as well.
On the left, the original picture (downsized); on the right, a 100% crop from one of the ornaments. Look at the cobweb in the upper right edge...

Plus, the photo was taken in JPG mode, not raw.

Cheers, Andreas

Dear Andreas,
you are my hero, this day is saved :)
That was my sailing territory.
My yacht (no outborder ! ) was about 1 1/2 ft. and I was thinking about how to fix a Practika L on board for playing paparazzi with the ducks.
Memories, some years ago ...

... but yesterday eve finally I got my new (used) TriE and now it is raining cats and dogs  :(
Thank´s for the pics (still waiting for the rhine:)
Rainer

I haven't been shooting much digital lately, having to much fun with film.

The assistant and only employee at my wife's office (where I do all my photo hobby work) was bugging me to take here picture, so I grabbed the R-D1 and had her stand out on the back balcony where the light and background were good and took 3 quick shots. They all came out good, I liked this the best.

The R-D1 never fails to surprise me.
