Right now I am a toss up between the Leicagoodies sling and the A&A cloth strap. Still have the ZI but have a buyer waiting me. Things I like about the M7, quieter, Exposure compensation method, and higher quality build. I do like the VF on the ZI. But I just love the quietness and the build on the Leica. Are my photos better? Probably not. We shall see.Forget the strap ... I'd be more interested to hear what you think of the M7 compared to the Ikon!
I went the other way ... got rid of my M7 and bought the ZI ... maybe you still have an Ikon?
Went with A&A cloth strap

I like the Cordoba leather...

smart move, but A&A makes a longer strap. You can get it at Photo Village, but the shorter strap works for me.i tried a (korean GOOD imitation) A&A style cloth strap, and found it to be too short... so i purchased some nylon webbing and had a local seamstress fashion me a longer strap same style as the A&A.... 3 years later, that strap is still my favorite, and my wife stole it from me for her FE2!
Now, i am on a big Upstrap Bandolier style strap kick, at least for my SLR's.
I am not sure what i will go with for the M4 that i plan to get.
Yes. Just got it.Nice choice Akiva.
Surprised no one has mentioned the black paint M7 the strap is attached to. Is that an a la carte job?
I only use A&A (or CV de Luxe) straps. If you check with Photovillage, they come both in 90 and 120cm length.
That being said, I like my wife's straps better.
🙂
I mean if your intention is to photograph and use the strap to hang your camera from your neck or from your shoulder. The A&A cloth strap looks very nice and comfortable, I just can't bring myself to pay that price for something that probably cost around 50 cents in raw materials.
