If you can make do with f2.8, I’d suggest the Elmar-M. The modern one is compact collapsed and has a shorter throw compared to the older lenses.

Hey Brian! So i did seriously consider the elmar-m (and the voigtlander 50mm color skopar f2.5...though it's 2.5, and only focuses with a tab). I may still get one in time, but i feel like i shoot in low light enough that i should maybe stick with an f2 or faster for the time being 🙂
