My newly acquired VT DeLuxe and Ricoh GR 28mm.

New to me Canon IID2 with CV 35mm f/2.5 lens and Leica finder. I love the magnified viewfinder in this camera but mostly I'll scale focus with this lens. The CV lens is very nice and matches the Leica hood ( 12571J ) as if they were made for each other.

Wow, nice collection! Colton has an example of the 50/2.2, and he posted some photos upthread. Otherwise, do the older, silver Serenar lenses count? Canon's own Lens Hall is a wonderful reference if you're looking to complete the collection. 😉

Here is my VI-T. It needs an overhaul so I have never shot a single frame through it. I'll have to send it out this summer. The lens needs a ding taken out also but for $5.00 I won't complain too much, yet.....

rcubed--Here are all the 50mm/5cm Canon/Serenar lenses I know: f/ 0.95, 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.2, 2.8, and 3.5. Most of there have more than one version.

Picked up a pretty nice copy of the Canon LTM 50/1.4 to use with my Canon 7 and Leica M2.

My Canon P and recently acquired 25mm 3.5 lens. Also just received a Canon 28mm 3.5 Serenar and will post it too (and yes I wonder why I needed the 28mm in addition to the 25mm, I don't know, but it was an excellent deal!)

Forgive me for this post but I thought people could be interested. While I do not have a picture of my Canon camera (my last one being a IVSB) having now sold it I did keep some Canon lenses which I love.

A few years ago I was in Bali (there is another recent thread on that trip) and one of the lenses I took with me was the black and chrome version of the 135mm f3.5 lens as I wanted to have one option with me that provided a longer reach. And this lens was about the lightest option available to me. Plus its IQ is known to be excellent.

I think I only used it once or twice but one image I took particularly impressed me. I was on a cliff top resort overlooking Jimbaran Bay and the airport beyond and I took a shot of the airport just as part of a sequence of scene setting images.

The detail captured in the full sized image was a pleasant surprise given the distance and the inevitable haze in photographic situations like this. I found that I could read the signage on the sides of some of the planes at the airport. Out of interest I used a distance measuring tool on Google Earth to check the distance and it turned out to be 6.8 kilometers. Not bad performance for a 60 year old lens. Of course I was using it on an Olympus OMD EM 5 so it had the same field of view as a 270mm lens. The image below though not full sized is enough to give some idea. Click for a bigger version which in this version is a bit soft due to my attempt to get rid of some environmental haze and image pixelation. Even though the image is compromised by the difficult shooting circumstances I am still surprised that the lens did so well.

I recently picked up a nearly mint 7 with a Japanese Summilux. The lens is beautiful. Took the place (for right now at least) of the Pentax 50 1.4 I converted.

Canon IID2 ( I think ) w/ W-Nikkor 28mm f/3.5. Outside the frame lines of the Leica 36mm finder is close enough to 28mm.
