Your collection of shots here are really stunning. What camera/lens did you use to photograph your Canon?
Salud!

I won this Canon IIIa in an eBay auction last week. (EDIT: when I originally posted this message I wrote it up as a IID. It isn't.) It arrived yesterday. Except for a depression on the top cover, it's a good Exc+. The lens is equally clean.
Note the aftermarket flash sync connectors. For both bulb and strobe.
I put a test roll through it yesterday, and discovered that it has a few pinholes in one or both shutter curtains. I will attempt to repair them, and failing that, I'll be looking at having the curtains replaced.
Who do you guys recommend for shutter curtain replacement?

Very nice IID. I'm sorry to read it has pinholes. My IV-Sb had too and I had them patched. I was told that replacing shutter curtains is a costly affair so I'd try to avoid that.

As I wrote in the other forum on manual lenses, I had a general CLA and one curtain replaced in my IIF (pictured a few posts back in this thread) for 70 euros. I don't know if prices abroad are higher, but it might be worth checking with your local repairmen.

Hey Ludoo,
Yeah, at your recommendation over at mflenses, I decided to drop in here and post a note about it. Thanks.
A very pretty IIF by the way. I suspect this won't be my only Canon RF either. I've owned a few in the past. The one I regret selling the most was a P with a 50/1.2.

Quick question for you smart devils here :
If you had money for a body or a lens only , which would you get first? I'm thinking about Canon P plus some cheap russian lens or 35mm voigtlander color skopar and then collect money for the Canon P.

I'd get the P and then complain here about not having a lens until somebody gave you one for free. ;-)
The P is a great camera, by the way.

Yeah , I was contemplating about the differences between P and bessa R , but P just "rings" right.

I showed my new IVSB in another post, but I think it deserves to be here too. My first Canon / Leica type and I'm loving it. The first roll showed no problems, even the 1 second speed seems right on. I'm very proud to carry this around, and it's a lot easier than the wetplate I've been working with.
