Very nice. I see your background (yard?) looks little better than mine - it is indeed hot and dry! Texas in August can be trying....

Wow, love to see those Canon P images. I've had several of them but had to give up because of deteriorating eyesight. I still think it's the most beautiful classic rangefinder camera.

Thanks

It is so dry you can hear the grass crunch when you walk on it..

I favor it over the Canon 7 but still use both..

Which body/lens is your fav? And why?

~Rif

Bodywise, I prefer the L3. Somehow the size and weight feel right. Canon 7 is a tad too bulky, IMHO. The P will come in second.

The VT's trigger wind has no practical use in terms of its speed advantage. When I shoot film, I take my time, so I have no need for rapid wind feature.

Cheers,

An update since my last post in this topic 2 years ago (the Canon collection has grown significantly since then ;) ) Things like original finders, cases, flashes and other accesoires are not shown here for sake of a nice clean picture :p

Camera f.l.t.r.:
-Canon 7sZ (big rewind knob) with very early serial Canon 50 f1.8 black (at least it used to be black, but due to a production error it's more red/brown now)
-Canon P with meter and Canon 50 f1.4
-Canon 7sZ (small rewind knob) with Canon 50 f0.95
-Canon VI-T with meter and Canon 50 f1.2
-Canon VI-L with Canon 50 mm brightline finder (with automatic correction) and Canon 50 f1.8 black

Lenses f.l.t.r.:
-Canon 35 f2
-Canon 85 f1.8
-Canon 100 f3.5 black
-Canon 135 f3.5 black

Everything is clean, CLA'd and working as a charm. I luv' rollin' that excellent Kodak Portra film through them! ;)

A wonderful collection & display, you have there. I really enjoy viewing collections like this because I appreciate the time & effort (not to mention the $$) it takes to assemble all of these items. There is a certain passion & dedication to quality exemplified here. Congrats on your success & thanks for sharing it with us.
