Leica LTM Show off your Leica I/II/III/LTM Camera

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Pulled this out of a two year hiatus and loaded it with a roll this evening. I'd almost forgotten how to cut and load!

Red dial IIIf in Zhou IIIG half case with freshly acquired Voigtlander 21/4. Can't wait to take pictures with it instead of it!

I wanna play ;}

First, Leica III sync modified, Summar, and FLQOO Hood. Big Thanks to member HuubL for the Summar and FLQOO! This is a recent Instagram snap.

Second, Leica IIIc "Sharkskin" and Summar. This body went to a fellow RFF'er in Russia. This is also an Instagram snap.

Ive owned maybe 5-6 Summars, Scratched, Chipped, Moldy, and Mashed. By far my FAVOURITE Leica lens, in any condition.

Enjoy!

Interesting viewfinder, Gabor. Can you post a clearer picture? Do you know by whom it is manufactured?

Erik.

Interesting question Erik. I spotted that finder by accident mounted on a Canon screwmount last Saturday in a train in Tokyo and after a short conversation with the owner of that camera was told that Lemonsha was selling them and had one left that I bought I the next day.

They still have a 21mm finder of the same type and shape for sale (site in Japanese though)

I try to take a better picture.

New to forum but I've been lurking and drooling for some time! Finally succumbed to GAS and Gabor was no help..."its a Barnack, they are too small to count." :D Just got the body and lens back from Youxin for CLA and a new shutter curtains. I'm in the middle of my first roll but really loving the experience. So far, the sound of the shutter is my favorite of any camera I own or have shot! Looking forward to checking out more threads and learning much more about these wonderful cameras.

Nice outfit Ron. Don't forget the IIIF has only the 50 viewfinder in it. Get the Voightlander 35 viewfinder from Stephen here, and you will be completely happy with this combo. I do have the Leica 35 SBLOO viewfinder v1 in mint condition, but in shooting up here in early morning fog conditions; the Leica is not sealed as well or as well made to today's standards. My personal opinion only on this, from my experience in using both viewfinders.

Thanks man, really enjoying it. Yep, got VC 35mm VF ordered and should be here today but was too excited to wait so just using my imagination to frame :D I love how i can just pop it in my pick and go for a walk.

Helen, I love my 1942 IIIc. As a note, do check the chrome for sign of flaking. It has been discussed that plating right after the war had problems due to material and workmanship. This problem existed up to the late forties.
