For those of you who are interested. I did declare July Nikon Rf Month and unearthed my stash. So far there are 254 shots up on our Flickr under the tag "Nikon Rf Month". I have been cycling through bodies and different lenses. About 1/2 way through (25 rolls) and next week I am going into some of the more exotic stuff, Nikkor 25f4. VC 35f1.2, Prominent Nokton 50f1.5 with VC adapter, Nikkor 105f4 and of course the 12f5.6 and 15f4.5 with the F -S adapter - and also some Zeiss glass (21/28/35 etc).
Each roll is tagged with camera and lens. Film is conventional, Tri X in Crawley's FX 37.

Okay, raining boring day here, and I stumble on this thread.
WARNING - generous customization, but I like them....
I would love to find a Nikkor 5cm brightline finder, but that would be insane and costly.

I see I'm not the only one who likes the plastic tips on the advance levers. I stripped them from F2 levers, removed the brass screw fittings, widened and deepened the channels with a Dremel and epoxied the tips onto my S3s and SP.

Yes, the SP is a late model and the lever is straight off an F2.

Since I didn't know which levers are compatible with which S3s or SPs based on when they were made, I found it easier to just remove the tips and then customize them to fit, so it wasn't necessary to have my repair person partially dismantle the cammeras to do the installation. For me, just cheaper and easier this way.

Alas, I wasn't using my 5cm f/1.1 enough so I felt I needed to sell it. I'll miss it, but I have plenty of other great lenses that get more use.

I guess I've come full circle since that day. I didn't jibe with this camera too well and ended up selling it when I needed money.
Recently a few people on Flickr (also here on RFF) have unconsciously persueded me to get another one. Today I picked up another S2 with the 50/2 and a 35/2.5 for good measure.
I actually wanted an S, but the only two I saw were in poor condition and more expensive than this S2 (w/o lens, even
I guess second time's a charm

I just picked up another BD S2. Might send this one to Shintaro. It was too cheap to pass up and came with my favorite lens for the S2, the 5cm f/2!

Now, that is a sight to behold! Drool. heavy drool. OK. the 21f4 is particularly delectable.
I did have the 85f1.5. Never owned the 50f1.1 - have the rest.
That 105f4 is interesting. Not that "hot" at f4 - but works fine from 5.6 on.
At the moment I am using one of my 28's on a S3 and my latest find, a mint chrome 85f2 on a SP.
I like Nikkor's!

I have absolutely no interest towards the 25/4, my black 28/3.5 is way better

Here is my shooter S2 with Nikkor SC 5cm f1.4 and a Walz 1a Filter and hood as well as the original strap
BTW, does anyone know if they still make straps like this anymore? I love the clasp design and how thin it is...I'd like to use something like this on my other cameras.

Nice kit,
Just search leather strap on ebay, you're bound to find something.
