Does anyone know how many times the M8's shutter can be activated before it needs to be replaced?

Twice as many as the life-time of the battery, the charger, the availability of SD memory chips and all the other electrical stuff with built-in obsolescence

About 12 actuations. Then the power fails and you have to send the camera back to Solms and get a replacement
