Earlier this morning, Sneaky ran up into the top platform of his cat tree and just stared at me. I wanted to get a photo of him up there, since he's been going up there a lot lately, and he always jumps down when he sees a camera. This time I got a few shots.

Now that he likes the cat tree, after months of ignoring it, he is VERY territorial about it. If you try to pet him when he is on the cat tree, he WILL bite you! He even gets mad if my son or I touch the cat tree! It is HIS!

while the first two are great portraits, i especially like the third because of including the very important tail.

thanks for sharing, again.

Expression: I am watching you and your camera, hooman.

He has been spending a lot of time supervising from up there!

The tail is important! I wish I had a good photo of him walking with his tail sticking straight up; its like a floofy flag flying above him when he walks! The thing is as wide as his whole body!

Last night, I made another cute photo of Sneaky sitting on the top platform of his cat tree. He was looking up at the ceiling, but I don't know why; there was nothing there!

With their special CatVisionTM, Sneaky sees the alien creatures that visit us from across our galaxy.

One of my cats would do that, as if tracking a fly, but there was nothing there I could see. Someone on a forum suggested there might be floaters in the cat’s eyes. When I first got floaters, in my 30’s, I know I moved my eyes and head around, trying to get them to go away.

New photo of Sneaky working hard. Laying around doing nothing all day is so exhausting that he has to sleep all night, too!

What's funny is that he loves the plush opossum in the photo, but he HATES real opossums. If he sees one in our yard, he chases them out, and all the neighborhood opossums are scared of him!

Just photographed Sneaky early this morning about 5:30am, stretched out on the floor across the front door. He sleeps like this a lot. The crochet ball is full of catnip; it is one of several catnip-filled toys made for Sneaky by a woman on one of the Facebook cat groups I belong to.

For those wondering why sneaky is looking at the ceiling "when there's nothing there".

Don't you believe it!

Have you never seen a cat on its "Mad Half Hour" when it runs all over the place as fast as it can, up curtains, along the top of the couch and vertically down the other side, under the bed (sometimes upside down when the bed is on legs) with it's eyes WIDE open?

It can see things we non cats cannot.

Sneaky gets the Zoomies all the time!

Chris, when sneaky is on top of the cat tree, have you tried touching some of the lower levels of it to see what happens?

I did a picture of one of our dogs several years back with the title "Will feign affection for treats".

I think its more honest with dogs. You feed a dog, and it will genuinely like you. You feed a cat and it might like you or it might want to murder you in your sleep, but will take the food anyway.

You may not be able to buy a cat's friendship with food, but you can LOSE its friendship with food! My parents have a little tortie named Precious and a huge Great Pyrenees dog named Molly. Precious LOATHES the dog, and wants her DEAD. She is NOT afraid of the dog, she bullies it relentlessly and the dog is afraid of her!

Before I took in Sneaky, I started taking leftover steak and other meat to my parents' dog. Precious won't eat table scraps, but the dog likes anything. Although she did not want the meat, it made her mad every time she caught me feeding the dog. Eventually, the cat started hating me and would not let me touch her! If I came into the same room as her, she would turn her back to me. This cat had always LOVED me before, but I cheated on her with that B*TCH too many times.

A few weeks ago, I said to Precious "Are you ever going to forgive me?" My mom responded "Nope, you are dead to her. DEAD."

A couple days ago, I posted a similar photo of Sneaky sleeping on his poop emoji pillow. Yesterday, I photographed him again, and this time, he had his tongue sticking out!
