Dear All,

I guess I am not the only one who lose a lot of little parts like eyecups, synchro plug covers, remote control plug covers, hot-shoe protectors, the stupid separate eyepiece blind some camera (like the Fuji digital) has, the eyepiece little glass most Nikon use...
Most of these items have almost no use (all the "protector" definitively are redundant in my own experience) but I just like cameras to have all the parts on them and was wondering whether some of you know any good source who sell separately (and at a reasonable price) these parts. Also just a source with the codes of these parts for Nikon and Leica camera (do they have a code?) could help.

For Nikon, if you know the code for the part, the big New York stores like B&H or Adorama may be the cheapest. Of course shipping charges can be a problem if you don't combine with a bigger order. For the parts that don't seem to have a code, like remote control terminal caps, the former Boca Raton Photo (now at bocaphoto.com, http://bocaphoto.com/products/new/nikon/nikonacc.htm) has a lot of helpful pictures and usually the parts are in stock.

For Leica, I'd try DAG for sync plugs etc.

Ebay, of course, and the Classic Camera Repair Forum's "swap zone." Oh yeah, I believe that Micro Tools has a few assorted parts (a pretty limited selection though).
