Still free IR filters with M8's?

Without a doubt. Registered my M8.2 yesterday and got a confirmation email with a URL to follow where you pick two free filters of the size of your choice, black or silver.

I do not think they will be ending this offer soon.

I signed up for the offer in January 09 after the camera was purchased in May 07 and they've sent me a filter 🙂 (the E46 filters are on backorder but the E49 arrived very quickly)
