stuck lens

Has anybody had this problem with a 35mm lens for the G2, it seems to have stuck . I can fire the camera with no lens , but not with the 35mm attached?

It happened as I was focusing between subjects quickly, the lens just stopped working.

It's a wild guess, but check the contacts on the connector block on the back of the lens.

The camera may stop working if they are dirty, or if one of them has gotten twisted out of alignment. (They are not embedded in the block, just folded over it. If one is out of position, CAREFULLY push it back down with tweezers.)

Ideally, if you have access to another G lens, try the camera with it. This will help you localize whether the problem is in the lens or the camera body.
