I need a black paint MP like I need a hole in the head but every time one of these threads crops up I have this image in my mind of a tastefully brassed ... well you know the rest!

I don't think I can justify getting myself another M-mount camera.
However I have this sudden deep lust for a black paint leica. Been looking at BP leica MPs and also M4......... I want it. I just want it aaarrrghhhh headache headache.

Just a pre-bedtime confession.

I have a black-chrome M7, M4-P and a re-painted (non-original) black-paint M2. The M2 will be in the classifieds here soon to found something else ... 😉

Just mixed myself a fresh batch of ilford rapid fixer.
Developed 2 rolls of tri-x in Rodinal 1:75 while listening to Jimmy Smith's Moonlight in Vermont.

..........and i am still lusting.

#100 is far too much, something like 1500-2000 I think should work. out of curiosity I'm gonna check it later on corpse of yashica electro.

I don't think the word sudden describes the lust you can have for a black paint MP very well at all.

It's always lurking in the back of your mind ... it's always present in some small way even if you've told yourself you're over the whole Leica thing! 😛
