Summilux 35mm pre-asph photos

I don't know if I've ever really gotten comfortable with the 35mm lenses, but I am intruiged by the 35/1.4 pre-asph. Very interesting wide open, sharp closed down and retro inbetween.

Oho! Now I know how to identify one. Thank You! I assume this (steel rim) is synonymous with "version I" is that right?
 
The scattering circles with a light point in the middle are a characteristic of the V1.

Beautiful pictures! Nice to see how these lenses work on a digital camera.

Indeed, it's a quite different lens from the v2 (which I sold to Helen Hill) and miss now !
