I don't know if I've ever really gotten comfortable with the 35mm lenses, but I am intruiged by the 35/1.4 pre-asph. Very interesting wide open, sharp closed down and retro inbetween.

Eric, is this the fabled "steel rim" or version I? If so, where exactly is the steel rim?
There's a steel bayonet type mount on the front for the hood (forgot the Leica code)

The scattering circles with a light point in the middle are a characteristic of the V1.
