Testing the Leica M and the Fuji X-T1

Why all the surprise on depth of field? The DOF could be matched by shooting the Leica lenses 1 stop slower. Basically an APS-C sensor is 1/2 the size of the FF so once you match angle of view you give the smaller sensor another stop to match DOF.

Other way 'round for me. Wide open, I want the fuji lenses to match the DOF of the Leica rig, ideally.
 
how does it look if you stop both lenses down two stops? the bokeh in both shots is very harsh.

Here are two snapshots take at f2,8 to show you what the bokeh looks like in a similar scene with a slightly smaller aperture (with my dog thrown in as an extra!).

The bokeh is indeed a bit smoother at f2,8 for both lens in this situation.
