For awhile I had the Voigtlander 50mm f1.5 classic... did not bond w/ the lens but I can see why it's special. This one was taken wide open:

Many thanks!Made me smile. I used to keep bees. Full depth and half depth supers there. Full depth weigh about 60# when full, half depth half that. Keeping bees is pleasant and good for you.

Yeah, I get the appeal for some, but this is not a lens for me. The wide open glow of the Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 v1 is right on the boundary for me, so I can see why you moved the 50 Classic on to someone who would appreciate it more.
