The beauty of Sonnar lenses - Post your pictures.

Jupiter 8 at f2 and pointed at the sun, what could be more fun? Soft for sure but none the less lovely.

Leica M4-2, Rollei Retro 80s with a yellow filter on the Jupiter.

Two more from the Concert for Seniors. The day was very bright. Perhaps I flattened the contrast too much to open the shadow detail, but I like the soft gentle feel as a result. Leica M4-2/50mm Jupiter 8 Rollei Retro 80s Yellow filter.

Does the Prakticar 135mm 2.8 count as a Sonnar? 😉 The 135mm 3.5 supposedly is basically Sonnar design, and the 135mm 2.8 is a modified Sonnar.

Actually I'm not super happy with the performance of the lens. It might be messed up after I had to realign the infinity focus. As you can see it has some significant barrel distortion.

Some people like these GDR Pentacon lenses but in my experience the Zeiss variants always seem to have better quality control.
