Chris,
Still enjoying your posts and I just wanted to thank you for fleshing out the thread. Certainly, you have enjoyed using the F6 as well!

Both of them, since I now have two!
I'll point out that if you go to Shag Harbour:

You can go on to Paradise:

Thirty years ago, Paradise was rather famous among the medical community of NS as being the home of a husband and wife team of sex therapists. I really think they would have been more at home in Shag Harbour... but Paradise will do nicely as the Amex lady used to say.

Thanks Huss,
Did a bit of machining on the aperture ring of the old Nikkor-S Auto. So even though it was made in 1962 or so, and originally was non-AI, I guess it's now sort of AI and works on the latest Nikon film body.

NS = Nova Scotia. The Maritimes. The Atlantic Provinces. Down East. Where we live on lobster, drink only tea and rum, and all play the fiddle. Or something like that.

In the next village to Église Sainte Marie (posted above) is Église St. Bernard. I'm guessing that this church, built ten years after the largest wooden church in north America but only a few kilometers from it, was constructed in a spirit of competitiveness. It sits on a hill and as one approaches from the south it looks more like a medieval European abbey than the kind of twentieth century church expected in a rural community of 850 people. Sadly, the source of funds for it is obvious: I passed through many communities where the houses and gardens were well-kept and looked prosperous. St. Bernard doesn't have that look, and one wonders whether the community poured its disposable wealth into this structure, and the results are still apparent.

Lovely work with your F6(s) Chris. I don't own one, but from what I've read the F6 would have to be the greatest of all the modern film cameras. The lenses rate a mention also.

The only thing better than an F6 is ... two F6's... !
