The Official RFF FIFA World Cup 2010 Thread

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Why eat buggers on national TV when you can enjoy it at home! [or something like that]

As far as Germany is concerned I'm not saying they will definitely lose against Argentina or that they don't play well. All I'm saying is let's not assume that because they played well against mediocre teams they'll play just as well against a good team like Argentina.

But this is were you've got it wrong. Germany always plays better against strong teams! They lost to Serbia only because everybody else in that group won against them... :D:D:D

Important matches require important decisions... You must decide well and do things that really help you get the victory... Anyone knowing the referee's name for the Argentina-Germany match? I've decided offering him a couple of nice cameras as a spontaneous gift... :)

Cheers,

Juan

Thanks Juan.

Hopefully the teams themselves and not the ref will determine the winner of the game.

Rawschan Irmatow allowed violent fouls against Messi during the match against Greece. Disturbing precedent.
Poor Messi, poor Özil, football loose with that kind of attitude.

Please Diego, please... not Demichelis , please!

I bet he plays. :D

Demichelis knows Klose pretty well, they play together at Bayern München. Could be an advantage for Demichelis. Could also be an advantage for Klose, though. :)

The same is true for the other (3?) Bayern players in the German team.

I always really liked Brasilian players individually, but not their teams so much. They win easy, but when faced with serious resistance they dont seem to cope very well with the thought of the unthinkable. Put the passion and expectations aside, focus on the job at hand, slowly turn the game around. That seems to be a European thing, as demonstrated today.

Fantastic performance by the Dutch.

Agreed, from what I saw of the match, congratulations to Holland on a deserved victory. Brazil got the early goal but credit to the Dutch for chipping away at them. Brazil were seriously chasing the game with 10 men, no chance for them when that happened.

Oranje boven! Thanks for kicking out the Brazlians for us! We will enjoy this advantage in the final. If we ever get that far... :D

The red card to the Brazilian player was very deserved. It was a very premeditated and purposeful stamp with the cleats on the Dutch player's leg. Video replay is a powerful tool.
