My father had a Betty Page pinup poster in his garage taken from his father's garage.
I remember that.

Does that count?
Yep, but Linda Lusardi counts double

Thanks Richard, it took me like forever to get Sam out of my system, did you have to bring her up again.
During the same time we had Italian 'singer' Sabrina to lust over on the mainland. It was the summer I gave up Lego forgood
Two out of four ain't bad for a puppy my age, I reckon?
Proposed additional question: 'I do not have to grin whenever somebody casually mentions The Black Knight.'

I had to Google Betty Page. I remembered her being mentioned on here somewhere else a while ago but couldn't place the name. Major photographer or something...?
That'll teach me to do a Google Image Search while at work!
Doesn't everyone remember Bauhaus, the 80's Northampton Band ? God I hated them.

Bauhaus (the band) to me symbolised everything that was wrong with the 80's. My first pint (Thwaites Bitter) at 48p symbolised everything that was good about the 80s
as did a couple of aspects of Sam Fox

You don't have to like beer to have friends. I never drink, my best friend drinks too much, but he never drinks beer. We both have friends, yet neither of us drinks beer. I actually have a lot of friends who either never touch alcohol, or who drink but do not like beer.

Oh Richard, I can recall (being told) that a lady for the night in a big city near you cost un mille franc, when that was about $2.70 usd.

Bauhaus are big in Germany too - for English people such as myself, used to a rather romantic image of the Bauhaus as modernist innovators finding out that they are where you go to buy mdf or a new bath is a bit of a disappointment.
