Hey guys,
I've had a few people inquire on how to adjust the vertical alignment of the rangefinder in the GF670 / BessaIII cameras lately, so I thought I would just start a thread about it. Maybe we could make this a sticky so it will be easy to find in the future.

On to the procedure:
Use a small flat screwdriver or other flat object and pull up on the front of the bottom of the hot shoe, then once it is lifted up far enough you should be able to slide the protective cover off the bottom of the shoe away from the camera. If I'm not mistaken, after that you will see a hole where you removed the cover containing some screws. two are philips type and one is flathead. the flat slot screw is the vertical alignment screw. i can't remember which direction turn moves the patch up or down but you should be able to figure it out pretty quickly. just keep turning and checking the vf until it's aligned. then slide the top cover on and you're good to go.

refer to these threads if you need some help; i did when i learned how to do the adjustment.
