This Weekend's Photography - Challenge ?

Thanks, guys. I use a homemade 5x7, thanks G'man, with a vintage lens and a restored Burke and James 4x5 for the portraits. The 5x7 is only good for grouos as it is fixed focus at 20 feet and has a around a 100mm lens. But oh the photos it makes. You can tell them from authentic wet plates

Ok Chaps - here we go. Leica M6, CVII 35mm Foma 100 rated at 50, 7 mins in Rodinal at 1 + 100, my weekend in Paddington.

four from my weekend roll. The stump in the rain is from Saturday. The motorcycle, logs and bench are from Sunday. All were taken with a Zorki 3M and a J8. The film was Silvertone 400 (rated at 200 and developed in Rodinal 1:100 for 15 minutes).

I like yours too especially the motorbike shot. Rodinal is some sort of miracle fluid!
Thanks. The motorcycle worked well.
As for Rodinal ... I'm getting to like it more and more, particularly at high dilutions.

Yup - me too. My son told me that he was confidently expexting a disaster. No way could 3 ml of fluid develop a film! I must say, I sort of felt the same but I think there are some here who use it at 1 + 250? You have to measure it with a syringe!

I've heard that ... but I suspect the development times are VERY long.

I have 1ml dropper I use to measure out my Rodinal. At 3 ml a roll, the 1.5 litres I have sitting around should last a while.

Interesting shots in this thread.

But, heck, I'll have to decline the challenge. I already do shoot several rolls a day (either for myself or on commission), but film is such a female dog to scan...

Hey, I watched Peter take those motorcycle shots just this morning! Cool! Good work.

(I spent the afternoon at Horseshoe valley listening to a holiday time share presentation.)

Thanks, Frank.
Here's one shot with the Kiev 4a and J12 I was picking up from Frank this morning.

PS: I hope the timeshare presentation wasn't too painful.

Went to DC today to see the cherry blossoms. What a zoo.
1. Obligatory monument shot.
2. CNN video crew waiting for something to happen.
3. Little girls on the Mall hustling for change.
4. Busted, Park Police move the young ladies off the mall.

Ok.. finally.. 🙂

Sorry but it takes me so long to scan 🙂

Here's a few from this weekend - all shot on the M3, Fuji Neopan 1600, using mainly the Voigtlander 35 Ultron (which I'm discovering is one seriously sharp lens), and my collapsible 50mm summicron.

Cheers
Dave
