Tractors

SciAggie--now THAT is a nice tractor photo!
Thanks for posting--very pretty lady!
Paul

Thanks - lol. I took the easy way out just to see if anyone would comment. I know I'm hanging out with real photogs when pics of tractors and cameras get more comments than a pretty girl.

Some good work y'all have shared while I was away!
This one is from after Thanksgiving dinner(just before bed) last fall, I can't decide whether I like it or not--and it is a great example of what very low light and plenty of wine with dinner do to my hand holding ability! :D
R2a and about a 1 sec. exposure on 400 speed film. Don't remember what aperture I used, Jupiter-8.

Took this one at an antique tractor pull during a local country fair. Sorry it's taken with my evil DSLR (Pentax K20D); I'll have to dig up some shots taken with the D2..

I sorta like the slingshot dragster model with the wooden timber frame and steel wheels. They must have timed the races with an hour glass.

Found these old workhorses sitting in a shed at a small museum in Falkland, B.C...

This one taken with the trusty Digilux 2...

Stewart: wow, 4 wheel drive.

Jan: infra-red or strong filter?

Frank I used a deep yellow filter. This was shot mid day in July against a cloudless sky. The camera was loaded with 120 Neopan 400 at the time

I have to say there's some really good photography happening in this thread.

I like the effect of the yellow filter - not like IR, but still a little ethereal.
