I took my FE2 on my trip to Honolulu last week, Tri-X, 50mm, and 28mm in tow. Thought I'd share a few. I'm loving how the FE2 handles...compact, solid...

Great stuff! I once took a Nikon F with 2.8/24 and, I think FP4+ on a weekend trip to Honolulu, and found it a surreal experience shooting black and white amid all that color!

Excellent photos! I really like the photos of the woman walking through the shallows and the view from the balcony. Tri-X is such a splendid film!

It was fun Helen. Those older mechanical (mostly) Nikons are small, solid, and bulletproof.

Fraser, it was HC-110 at 68F for 6 minutes. Agitate first 30 seconds, then ten seconds (four gentle inversions) every minute. Pretty much the Ilford method.

I'm impressed enough with these I have come out of my 'lurker' status. Great exposure, developing, and scanning David!
