Wow, it sure doesn't look uncoated. Looks very natural.

I picked up a 34-37 step up, to go with the 37-40.5. Will be trying ther Summar soon.

Is there some reason why these old lenses should not work well on digital? I've tried it with my DSLRs but they present, of course, macro so it is hard to really tell the color and lenses quality.
Use them as you would on a film camera, shade and not into direct sunlight. I like the lower contrast look, especially on digital.
Mabelsound has a Summar, I think the "F1.5" was a slip from my Sonnar.

Lower contrast lens is much better for digital, especially if it so sharp.
That is what I amd finding. The uncoated Sonnar has become a favorite on my M8.
How long before new lenses return to the lower-contrast look? If not, then these older lenses are going to continue to rise in price.
