Thanks for the great advice everyone! I ordered my gear today! I ended up going with an M4-2, the 35mm f1.4 sc, a 90mm f4 elmar, 90mm finder from cameraquest, and a gossen digisix meter. I will hopefully have a couple of test snaps to post here in a couple of weeks, if people don't mind walmart scans

I'll throw in my 2 cents. Regardless of what equipment you eventually settle on I have found it's good to start with a one camera one lens combo for a awhile and use it until it becomes an extension of how you see. Then you have a better idea of what you want the next piece of gear to accomplish for you.
