Tough choices on 21mm lenses ...decided to get the 21mm/4.0 VC -- inexpensive and light. Maybe a 21/35/50 travel kit?
What say ye for 21 viewfinder?
Thanks -- Paul

The VC 21 finder is very good.

Get the VC finder, looks good together, cheap and the finder is nice and bright

I had the CV21mm finder, sold it to Al (Al Kaplan) and now use the old Leitz 21mm finder. The CV21mm is better, the Leitz "looks" better (and is much more expensive ...)
BTW, 21-35-50 is my travel-kit also.

I use the VC finder with mine because it came with it (I have the LTM version of the lens that I recently bought used).
If I was buying this lens in M mount new I would strongly consider just putting the viewfinder money toward an R4M or R4A.

That looks pretty nice.

I use it with a Leica plastic 21 VF. IMO, much better build than the one from cosina, though they function the same.

Bought a 21/4 years ago in LTM and the finder that came with it is just fine.

No real issues with the VC finder but I prefer to use the Contax G 21mm finder (on the Leica) A small solid metal finder. Also have the VC 90 degree angle finder

Has anyone tried the new Leica metal finder? I know its expensive but I was curious what it was like with its dual frameline arrangement?
