AVRO Vulcan Bomber XH558
Hi,

This will be grounded this year and will be making a series of farewell tours of the UK.

Details here: http://www.vulcantothesky.org/appearances.html

I hope to see her at Shuttleworth soon.

I had the same thought on Sunday. To my surprise the route maps seem pretty accurate and the Vulcan flew low too - maybe only 1500' or so

Definitely worth a look if the route passes close by

Hi,

Here we go:

And, for the last time, perhaps...

Never seen it so crowded. Took us 10 minutes to get back to the open road after the last Edwardian landed. And it was nice meeting up again with the French group and their Bleriots.

This is my favorite salon on RFF. Lots of outstanding images of some very cool flying machines. Please keep it going. Will try and

10+ years ago this Boeing 247 in United Airlines livery landed at our airport here in Nevada. Was able to get a few shots including this one. Wonder if Biomed has seen this one. It was headed to his area.

Only taken two months to spot this... Yes, SWMBO and I were there - often make the October show. I'm afraid someone's video of the aerobatic plane has me effing and blinding all over it, could not believe some of the things it was doing!

We both love Old Warden, it's like nowhere else.

R4118, the Hurricane, is a genuine Battle of Britain survivor.

And another Vulcan pic, a truly awesome beast of an aeroplane. We were both in tears at the thught of never seeing her do this again, sadly missed.

This B-25 J flew into town and stayed for a week. Was able to do a press ride on her. Loads of fun! Please correct me if I'm wrong on the model.
