When I was near my old Army base by La Ferté-Alais, Essones, I found this air museum chock full of old planes. Yes, I should have stayed longer and shot more, but here is what I saw. La Ferté-Alais Air Museum

Recently scanned a load of old negs and found these, taken at an open day at RAAF Point Cook, Australia 1975 or 76. I worked in the light green hut on the right of the ME262.

research edit: 'This specific C-47 participated in D-Day operations during World War II, as evidenced by the black-and-white invasion stripes painted on the fuselage for Allied aircraft identification. After the war, it entered commercial service before returning to military use with the Missouri Air National Guard.'

Say what you will about the Nazi regime (and I'll agree), but the guys who flew the Me-163 were very brave indeed.
