I finally am getting another rangefinder (a Bessa R2 w/ the 35 f/2.5 PII) and I've been wondering how good the lens itself is. It appears that it's a pretty solid lens, but I can't help but wonder if it will be too small for my largish hands?

Ted, Here's a color shot taken w/ the older "classic" LTM version of this lens. I later sold my copy, but then regretted it and got the PII version.

Thanks all, the LTM version seems great, am looking forward to testing it out in a couple of days.
I also preferred the CV 15 and 21 in LTM. Had both 15s, kept the LTM, only had the CV 21, which I like a lot for it's size and rendering, but it does flare when shooting into the sun. If I used 21 a real lot, I'd probably try the Zeiss ones out as well.
The CV 35/2.5 PII was a great all around lens, but I sold it, because at the time, I had too many 35s, and the others were as good, and faster, but I still have a lot of great 35/2.5 PII photos.

I've shot a couple rolls now using this lens and my Nokton 50mm. I have to say though I wish it were a bit faster, I really love this little lens. It's quite a decent performer on film!

I like the fact that you can shoot a brick wall with this lens and it still shows no distortion at all.

Now that would be fun LOL, unfortunately just a bunch of enthusiastic
amateur engineers who maintain an old Victorian water pumping station.
