Purchased this lens used (VM mount version), and using it for about a month. Recently I found time to disassemble lens for cleaning some dust. As a result here's a

That particle was there at the day I purchased it, and previous lens history is unknown. It just took time to decide to explore lens just in case maintenance will be required in future. The path for dust to aperture chamber is quite difficult, so dust should not build up there quick.

Since I can't see that part in you pics:

How hard do you think would it be to add something to the close focus stop to make it stop at 60-65cm? like gluing in a piece of plastic at the stop screw or whatever they used.

I disassembled lenses before but never expensive ones.

Thank you for very interesting question. I was doing opposing thing few years ago with another Voigtlander 40mm F1.4 Classic S.C - making it focusing a bit closer by cutting part of the stopping frame area.

You are right - that requires closer look inside of the focusing frame. I'll probably find time to investigate that on this weekend and see how close focus stop is organized.

Disassembled lens this noon and added few pictures to the article. It requires glue removing to access the inner area of focusing ring mechanics. I don't plan to do it right now, but it is the next step if you plan to limit minimal focusing range. Most likely like in other Voigtlander lens focusing rings, there should be area inside where you can add piece of metal or plastic to reduce ring rotation range.
