Voigtlander 50mm f2.5 for Nikon RF

I do not really need another 50mm lens since I have the Nikon Millenium 50mm f1.4. But the Voigtlander 50mm f2.5 intrigues me. How is it with sharpness, contrast etc?

The price is the most intriguing part. That will be 2 50's for the Nikon RF and 4 for the Leica. Who's counting?

It's a fine, albeit slow, lens if that's what you're looking for. Then again, any 50mm lens that tops out @ f/2.5 had better be good!

The strange dome-shaped hood & large rear element do make for a relatively compact package. As for ergonomics, I would prefer a tighter aperture ring, but the same goes for the Millenium 50/1.4.

I have the Voigtlander 40mm f2 SL II for my Nikon SLR. The domed hood is nice for compactness. I agree the aperture ring on the Millenium 50 could be tighter.

I have the 50f2.5 for the Nikon Rf. very sharp, slightly higher contrast than the Nikkor 50f2. The hood looks a bit strange, but works very well (except if you are eating croissants and have the camera hanging on your chest - it will accumulate crumbs!!!).
TriX, Stoeckler developer A4/B4 min. I think it was on a S3 or S2.

This would be the coolest "surf buggy" of all time! Nikon SP, Color Skopar 50f2.5 (S-mount), TriX in PCK developer.
