I am able to focus this lens wide open quite well and I do not wear glasses or contact lenses. What is there not to like in this lens other than the weight and (maybe) the extra cost?

I favor the CV 50/1 over the excellent CV 50/2 APO. The colors from the M10 look better.

I can see many possibilities with this lens alone and a camera. There is no need to carry along another lens.

Wide-open, the high central sharpness and bokeh look more appealing and compelling than the 50 Noctilux.
Impressive, if it were 1/2 the cost, stunning for 1/7th the cost.
