Woohoo!! You'll love it Helen! Can't wait to see your shots with it! Tip: get yourself a cheap Tiffen ND-9 filter (3 stops) and you'll be all set shooting wide open with iso 400 if that's your thing.

Glad I'm not the only one to succumb - mine arrived last week. Stephen's doing good business out of this thread!

So far, I love it - still in the honeymoon period. I'm off on a short break from tomorrow and will only take my M8 and the new lens. Should be fun.

Helen, this is indeed a great lens and a nice fit for M bodies. I was wary of the size and weight, but it actually feels pretty comfortable on the M3.

I don't mind the weight, particularly if I am carrying only two cameras, NO BAG, and a couple of rolls of film in my pocket.
