Voigtlander M 35/1.4 Nokton Images

I love this lens ... some shots from a recent trip to the capital - Taken with cinestill t800 which I personally think is a great partner to it! It adds to the glow!

Do you guys notice the focus shift problem or can it be safely ignored in most cases?
If you are working near the close focus limit, it often pays off to compensate for the shift in my opinion. At a few meters it's much less of an issue. Some people say they can't live with it, others are sure their copy doesn't have it. You will likely find yourself somewhere in the middle even if you are critical.

I still love this lens. Mine shifts a bit (backfocus) between f/2.8 and f/5.6, so I tend to compensate slightly. Not a huge deal for me.

These are all Provia 100f, taken with my M4-P.

I don't get out with the R2a as much as I should. The X-Pro1 has been grabbing my attention more recently. However with the Fujifilm sent back for it's annual service the Bessa and 35mm 1.4SC went for a walk with me in the sunshine around Bristol, UK. Using Fujifilm Neopan 400CN. Still learning as I go.
