It's been a while since I've scanned colour! Most recent scans were Ektachrome 100 and Ektar 100. From memory I adjust the histogram in EpsonScan for black and white points and set the middle value at 100, though sometimes I adjust that if the preview looks unrealistic. I leave any colour adjustments for LR6. The desired scan look is somewhat flat looking, to allow maximum room for tonal and colour adjustments in LR6. I think you'd call my technique unsophisticated but it works well enough for me, mainly because I'm very familiar with tonal and colour adjustments in LR and CS6. What also helps is having a good monitor - I use an NEC Multisync PA272W. Hope this helps.

Just a disclaimer none of these are works of art, I've been using medium format for more serious work lately. Also these are in varying stages of soberness, hah, so if there's something out of focus it's probably just me.
I figured i'd actually share a couple images with this lens since I've been shooting it for a while. These are Provia (faithful color/exposure to the slide), Portra 160 and Tri-X @ 1600.

I don't suppose anyone has been using the new 35mm Ultron alongside the VM 28mm Ultron and can comment on differences/similarities?
I love the 28mm, but I've been thinking about getting something that actually fits the framelines on my M2 😉

Lovely image, lynn! The Ultron is certainly a nice lens, but what really struck me are the lovely tones and sharpness from the HP5/ID-11 combination. I've never been able to get those results with HP5, and maybe it's the developer (I've been using HC 110). Need to give ID-11 a try...

Steve, nice shot, but are the dark corners at the bottom vignetting? Desired? At wich f-stop did you take the picture? Thanks!

Erik -- Good questions, something I should've mentioned. I don't think it's vignetting; just a product of the lighting. This shot was taken under a bridge in solid shadows just as a misty, fogging morning dawned. Difficult lighting. As I recall, I metered under the bridge and may have even opened it up a stop. No specific recollection but it looks f/2.8 or f/2. Certainly no slower. A really fine lens exceeding my ability.

The Chinese maker Haoge just introduced a square bayonet hood for the CV 35/2 and the 35/2.5 P II.
