Voigtlander Ultron 35mm F2 Aspherical Images

Some more pictures with the Ultron 35mm f/2 Vintage, Leica CL and Pan F 100 in ID-11 10min 20C. V700 scans.

The two 16:9 crops are foreground removal only, so you're looking at the top part of the full frame width.

Bokeh is a bit busy in the second image. I think it was taken @f/2.8 but can't be sure.

I like these! Thanks for sharing

based on the images i've seen in this thread, i quite like the lens stopped down (let's say, past f/4.5 or 5.6). the bokeh is just too nervous for me any wider.

Lynn, just to "complete" your process, how do you go about digitizing your files? However you do it, I like it.

BTW, far as I'm concerned all subject matter is fair game, LOL. Like that first image.

Hi Greg, I scan with an Epson V700 @4800dpi using EpsonScan software then adjust tones in Lightroom 6, then export to CS6 for touchup and resizing.

Cheers,
Lynn

Nice tab there PCR!

Here's a few tourist snaps from Nagano Prefecture, the home of Cosina. The spectacular Matsumoto Castle is one of just 12 original castles remaining in Japan. Most castles are just concrete replicas, but not this one.

Great shots from Nagano Jon! Hoping to get down to Matsumoto Castle soon too. Will be 16 years since my last visit there 🤓
