Genes are seldom strictly on-off but affect the organism in a complicated spectrum of ways. You get statistical probabilities but never 100% certainty.
It seems that you and I have identical Lopi wood stoves, if not identical cats, though it seems that your Mona is just as fond of your stove as our Nancy is of ours.
