Having lurked so long here, it's only fair for me to now contribute something...
1 Gorgeous Oskar. Our Frankencat - half Maine Coon, half Persian. Thirteen and as healthy as a horse. Often gets the zoomies and races around the house, otherwise placid, laid back, enjoys human company (and beds), and doesn't mind other cats. Number One Cat in the household, and knows it.
2 Pensive Scooter. Dumped in our garden as a small kitten, barely old enough to stomach dry cat food, so dehydrated and emaciated we thought he wouldn't survive - he did. Now eleven. Has the nicest personality of our tribe of five, but a biter (not hard) when overstimulated. Our Little Japanese Cat.
3 Ozi (aka Baby Spare Parts). So nicknamed as when small he looked like something put together from leftover cat bits. Born in the roof of an old house in Surabaya where I stayed for ten years. Now eight, friendly, smoochy, likes most cats but has a feral streak when annoyed. Note the soccer bat tail, common with Asian kampung cats. Loves posing for portraits and lounging on a cool tile floor on hot days.
4 Ojai innocently (ha!) plotting more mischief. If the Devil had a cat, it would be Ojai. About eight, emotionally needy, loving but demanding - demands to sleep on my bed and howls if ignored. Our only cat prone to random spraying when stressed. Anyone with a black cat will know how difficult it can be to get good images of cats of this color, bringing out detail in the fur comes at the risk of skewing the other colors.
Two more cats in our household, so more to come when I can sort out the thousands I have (baby photos of a sort after all) and have time to edit them. Also predictable dramas to come, two more cats are set to arrive next week, temporary guests while new homes are found for them. So a few dramatic times to come.
All taken with my iPhone.
