Indeed! I usually just get a glowing white disk if I try to shoot a picture of the moon.


I do a lot of nighttime shooting with just the light of the full moon. Four minutes at f8, typically. Not sure if that's included within the thread topic though.

Grazie Robert for starting this. Moon goddesses are the best. Isn’t Canon an anglicized version of Kwan Yin, and isn’t she the moon matron?
