A collector's item in Saigon. The ones with original parts sell for big money.

You mean something like this :) . Seen in Hoi An about 8 years ago and it looked to me to be the one another member from VietNam had posted a few years earlier . I'm sorry his name eludes me now , but he posted pictures from VietNam frequently . Peter

A little over a month ago on my return from the Moto-Guzzi national rally at John Day park in Oregon , 1000km round trip . I still can't believe the number of excellent roads and absolutely no one on them . This is one of numerous pictures I took setting up the camera (Bronica) on the tripod and setting a self timer , returning to the bike , and then taking it all down ( this is with the camera in the middle of the road) and still not a hint of anyone for the better part of half an hour . Just marvelous :) . Oh yeah , this was with Provia 100F.

From the moto-camping episode that I just published.

Shot with Leica MP, Elmar-M 50mm F2.8, Neopan 400.
Scanned with Leica SL2-S, LUMIX S 100mm F2.8, Negative Supply rig.

I have a soft spot for those bikes . I've watched a few camping YouTube videos with those bikes . That's minimalist packing for sure .

My last bike sold it 5 years ago. Wife was very worried about my health.
I'm very lucky, my wife is worried about my health when I'm not riding. Wasn't riding much so I sold my 2017 BMW in June, and she was like. "What are you going to get next?" I obliged by picking up a different BMW which I rode to Wisconsin today. I was racing motorcycles when we first met almost 30 years ago, and she's always known me as a biker. I'm very lucky, and I definitely married up.

Best,
-Tim

My wife encouraged me to add this new toy to the stable.
It's a Royal Enfield interceptor, 2021, only 3500km on the clock, I picked it up at 12 noon today and have just added 300km, a lovely ride.

I love the look of the Interceptor with the accessory touring seat of the Continental GT and bar end mirrors!
