A little over a month ago on my return from the Moto-Guzzi national rally at John Day park in Oregon , 1000km round trip . I still can't believe the number of excellent roads and absolutely no one on them . This is one of numerous pictures I took setting up the camera (Bronica) on the tripod and setting a self timer , returning to the bike , and then taking it all down ( this is with the camera in the middle of the road) and still not a hint of anyone for the better part of half an hour . Just marvelous
. Oh yeah , this was with Provia 100F.

I have a soft spot for those bikes . I've watched a few camping YouTube videos with those bikes . That's minimalist packing for sure .

This is a poor scan of a photo taken in '82. Barbara and I had just arrived home from a camping trip from Maine to Ohio and back. My idea. It seemed like it rained the whole time we were gone. A Ducati 750GT was not ideal for this, and our makeshift camping gear wasn't either. Yes, we are still married.

I'm very lucky, my wife is worried about my health when I'm not riding. Wasn't riding much so I sold my 2017 BMW in June, and she was like. "What are you going to get next?" I obliged by picking up a different BMW which I rode to Wisconsin today. I was racing motorcycles when we first met almost 30 years ago, and she's always known me as a biker. I'm very lucky, and I definitely married up.My last bike sold it 5 years ago. Wife was very worried about my health.

My wife encouraged me to add this new toy to the stable.
It's a Royal Enfield interceptor, 2021, only 3500km on the clock, I picked it up at 12 noon today and have just added 300km, a lovely ride.

I love the look of the Interceptor with the accessory touring seat of the Continental GT and bar end mirrors!
