Going through the station at about 1/2 speed (100 mph). Noisy, almost scary.

This kind of behavior around active rail lines scares me. I live in an area where there are several train related fatalities each year. Most are suicides,
however, others are the results of sheer stupidity like this or inattention to one's surroundings.
If a fast nonstop train was coming through, a few of these kids might not get out of the way in time and end up as roadkill. Trains can't stop as quickly as cars do.
These kind of accidents don't only affect the families and friends of the victims, they are also extremely traumatic for the train crews as well as emergency
responders and those who have the misfortune of being there when it happens.
Unfortunately, There was another fatality on this rail line, Caltrain, today. An apparent suicide. It was the 12th fatality for Caltrain this year. 🙁
