My favorite picture of me, for a variety of reasons. Taken by my daughter (9 at the time) with a R-D1 & 50/1.4 asph wide open . The lump on the right side of my neck is a swollen lymph node diagnosed as lymphoma the following day.

This picture always reminds me (1) how lucky I am to be alive and (2) how lucky I am to have a daughter who can focus a rangefinder. :D

Yes, Voigtlander made a few in LTM (Mr. Gandy's article here: http://www.cameraquest.com/vgtnok.htm) as well as in Contax RF mount as a side business. I believe the ones in Contax mount are rarer & were made after Zeiss Ikon acquired Voigtlander in '56 but towards the end of Contax production ('60-61?). The prototypes of the "Contax IV," never put into production because ZI dropped the Contax in favor of the Contarex, sported Noktons as the standard lens (the Nokton being considered to be an easier-to-produce replacement for the Sonnar).

I had a Voigtlander Prominent with the 50/1.5 Nokton.... Great lens and plenty of sharpness, Did not know it was made in a LTM variation...
